A&B Cymru Awards 2020
Twenty-two businesses and their arts partners have made it onto the 2020 A&B Cymru Awards shortlist. The ceremony, now in its 27th year, recognises creativity and excellence in partnerships between business and the arts.
Companies of all sizes based across the whole of Wales compete to win the prestigious awards. The diverse shortlist, which ranges from a social housing provider, to a whiskey distillery, represents the many creative and far reaching ways business is working with the arts to achieve tangible goals.
The full shortlist is available here.
Winners will be revealed at a virtual ceremony on the evening of Friday 9 October, when the recipients of the Robert Maskrey Award for Arts Philanthropy, the Admiral Business of the Year and the Hodge Foundation Arts Award will also be announced.
The 2020 Awards, which was originally due to place on stage of Wales Millennium Centre, will be free of charge to watch, thanks to the staunch and hugely valuable support of the Event Partners which are listed here.
Full details of the interactive event will be announced in early September.
A&B Cymru’s Chief Executive, Rachel Jones said “The 2020 Awards attracted a record number of entries and we are delighted that, at such a difficult time for business and the arts, we are able to celebrate the achievements of all the incredible creative partnerships across Wales. Although we will miss being at Wales Millennium Centre this year, the virtual ceremony will bring all the glitz, glamour and excitement of the flag-ship event straight into people’s homes! This would be impossible to achieve without the loyal Event Partners who have continued their vital support and we are hugely grateful to them all”.
