The Awards Must Go On!
The A&B Cymru Awards will take place on stage at Wales Millennium Centre on Friday 9 October when, for the 27th year, A&B Cymru will publicly celebrate excellence in partnerships between the private sector and the arts across Wales.
Global Energy Company Valero is continuing its principal sponsorship of this flag-ship event for the 11th consecutive year and the awards categories are supported by a range of key organisations from across Wales.

The award winners will be chosen by an independent panel of judges who have expertise in practical art forms, sponsorship and the aims of the private sector. The individuals who will judge the business partnership categories are Kathy Brown, former Regional Citizenship Manager at Barclays Bank, Ruth Fabby MBE, DL, Director of Disability Arts Cymru, Ceidiog Hughes, Managing Director of PR company Ceidiog Communications, actress and long-term supporter of A&B Cymru, Suzanne Packer, and Stephen Thornton, Public Affair Manager at Valero Pembroke Refinery.
The Adviser of the Year Award will be judged by last year’s recipient Hayley Hughes, Director of Celtic HR, Jean Church MBE, CEO and Founder of My Business Lynq Ltd, and founder of the Aloud Charity and now Director of Music at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, Tim Rhys-Evans MBE.
The successful individuals and companies will once again receive trophies specially commissioned for the ceremony. They will be designed and made by Cardiff based artist Lowri Davies.
