Vacancy: Community Participation Officer (Full Time)

South East Wales

Literature belongs to everyone and can be found everywhere. Through words we discover new worlds. By working with others in a wide range of communities, Literature Wales can make literature a voice for all.
The Community Participation Officer is responsible for overseeing and facilitating programmes in order to improve opportunities for all to engage with and enjoy literature across Wales, with a focus on opportunities for children and young people. This includes facilitating some of Literature Wales’ main projects including Bardd Plant Cymru and coordination of our contribution to Cardiff Children’s Lit Fest, National Poetry Day and National Writing Day. In addition to this the officer will support the Programmes Team with additional outreach activity and projects, particularly those delivered in Welsh.
