Meet the Interns 2018/19
Sara Wiliam & Rubicon Dance
Sara graduated in Religious Studies and Philosophy from Cardiff University. As a former member of Ysgol Glanaethwy Drama School in Bangor, she has a keen interest in the performing Arts. Joining Rubicon at a very exciting time, Sara will be working with the team on a new Fundraising Strategy for a significant capital build project to create a new dance space in a former Victorian Library.
Gwenan Jenkins-Jones & Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama
As a graduate of Bangor University with a First Class Honours degree in Welsh and a violinist with the National Youth Orchestra of Wales, Gwenan is excited to be placed with an organisation that is close to her heart. She will be focusing on individual giving and assisting with fundraising events at the College.
Megan Stokes & Theatr Clwyd
A graduate in Illustration, Graphic Novels and Children’s Publishing from Glyndŵr University in Wrexham, Megan is keen to work in a field where she can help inspire others and make the arts central to all parts of society. She will be joining a relatively new Fundraising team at the Theatre, where she will experience all aspects of fundraising, with a particular focus on the Theatre’s current major capital redevelopment project.
Emma Hastings & Wales Millennium Centre
Emma has an MA in Design Futures from Cardiff Metropolitan University and a keen interest in business and the creative arts. She is excited about joining the Centre’s Development Team and gaining insight into a broad range of fundraising activity during her 10 month placement.
