A&B Cymru works with companies large and small across Wales, assisting them to achieve core objectives through partnerships with the arts.  The list of business members grows and diversifies annually, and since we became Independent we have been delighted to welcome:

Creative Workplace - With long standing careers in film and production, Karen Whiteside and Andy Brice use creative mediums to help people develop their skills and abilities, as well as to manage change within the workplace.  They join A&B Cymru for profile and to extend their network. http://creativeworkplace.org.uk/

Arts

A&B Cymru’s arts membership exists to support, develop and motivate individuals in the arts who have responsibility for business partnership.  Our newest members are:

Beyond The Border Storytelling Festival takes place bi-annually at St Donats Castle, Vale of Glamorgan. Expect a fabulous line up of tellers and tales, music and singers and exclusive International performances.  http://www.beyondtheborder.com/festival

Rona Campbell, photographer. Ice Dance is a collection of abstract photographs of ice in Wales, art photography, featuring the life of ice from freeze to meltdown. The exhibition is being shown across Wales until January 2013. www.ronacampbell.com/

The Cory Band is currently the number one ranked Brass Band in the world. The Rhondda Valley based group was formed in 1884 and is dedicated to new music, raising the profile of the brass band genre and keeping music alive in Wales.  http://www.coryband.com/

Catherine Paskell is a Theatre Director, Producer, Promoter and Community Collaborator.  She was Creative Associate at National Theatre Wales between 2009-2011 and was a founding member of the organisation.  http://twitter.com/Cpaskell

Engedi Arts is an organisation that promotes and develops the showcasing of the arts and music in and around Colwyn Bay, North Wales.  http://www.engediarts.com/

Focus Wales is a 3 day Music Festival & Conference held at multiple venues in Wrexham, North Wales, UK, and will take place over the weekend of the 25th, 26th & 27th of April 2013. The festival will showcase live performances from a collection of the very best in music of Welsh origin throughout weekend. http://www.focuswales.com/index.php

Peep Toe Productions
is the parent company of The Siren Sisters, a 1940’s inspired singing trio managed by Director Sarah Perryman. The group performs at venues and festivals across the UK. http://www.thesirensisters.co.uk/  

As part of Bangor University, Pontio will be a world class Arts and Innovation Centre.  The iconic building, set to open in 2014, will be a site for the creation of spectacular theatre productions, film, music, circus, dance and other innovative performing arts. http://www.pontio.co.uk

Based in Cardiff, Richard Newton Consultancy Ltd provides a range of consultancy services to promote effective growth, sustainability and to support quality of service provision for a range of organisations within the third and public sectors.  http://www.richard-newton.co.uk/

Teifi Emerald is an independent theatre performer based in Penarth.  Her experience includes stage and screen and she runs workshops which are a mixture of creativity, voice, movement, art and play.  Teifi has also worked as an Assistant Director for the National Youth Theatre of Wales. http://teifiemerald.net

Theatr Bara Caws provides theatre of the highest quality in the Welsh language.  Based in Gwynedd, the company regularly travels across Wales, taking its productions to areas that have been deprived of live professional theatre.  http://www.theatrbaracaws.com/

trac is Wales' Folk Development organisation. Its role is to promote and develop the music and dance traditions of Wales.  trac provides an information service, a free magazine, and a website listing performers, events and contacts.  http://www.trac.com/

Welsh Music Foundation exists to assist in the development of the music industry by way of specialist business support and representation.  It provides an information service for SMEs and start-ups, a support system for the development of a commercially viable industry and encourages partnership between music organisations and entrepreneurs. http://www.welshmusicfoundation.com
